Developer in 3D Geometry Open CASCADE (OCCD) – (f/m/d)
Full-time / Part-time
Location: Stuttgart / Leipzig / Remote
Who you are:
Degree with focus on computer science or comparable education
Proven experience in 3D geometry (OpenCascade is used as the geometry engine for the server side), as this topic is development focus
Good knowledge and understanding of mathematics: analytical geometry, graph algorithms, numerical methods and mathematical analysis
Good understanding and experience in using the geometric kernel
Good knowledge of C# and C++
Strong knowledge of OOP
Good level (B2 and above) of English reading, writing, understanding and speaking.
Nice to have:
Experience with Autodesk Revit or similar BIM systems
Conversion from IFC to OCCT representation (or with another geometric kernel)
Design patterns & best practices in software design
Preference for modern software development (git, ci/cd & etc)
Experience in the SCRUM framework
What you will do:
Work with Open Cascade in the field of civil engineering.
You are open-minded, motivated and like to work fast & iteratively in a Scrum team to improve topics.
