ITC Engineering is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Züblin AG, one of the largest construction companies in Germany. Established 2009, their key product is IRIS, a web-based platform to organize projects, data and processes, like managing the supply chain, perfectly suited for the needs of construction companies. ITC Engineering is a fast-growing company which create innovative IT products requires the involvement of a large number of highly skilled IT professionals. This is the reason why ITC Engineering decided to start working with IT outsourcing partners for its development work.

Challenge:

ITC Engineering grew very fast within the first 10 years of business. They faced increasing fix costs and uncertainty about future revenue and funding capabilities. Due to ITC Engineering need for further product enhancements and challenging timelines, we were asked for support.

Solution:

In close alignment with the customer we explored, how our involvement can bring the most benefit. The joint decision was to support with a dedicated international team, containing of Developers, Testers and a Scrum Master.
With the focus on the Project Management Hub (PMH) – the central part of IRIS’s platform – we brought the Document Management System and Management Report – Tool to the next level. We used a wide range of modern web- and cloud technologies, like Java, Redis, Angular, PostgreSQL in a scalable micro service architecture.
Serving the customer with the technological expertise of our Development- and Quality Assurance – Team is as important to us as autonoumusly organizing our work allowing the customer to fully focus on engineering their requirements.
